Sample Consulting Projects
External Project Evaluator – University of California, Irvine (UCI), School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences (SPPS)
Collaborated as an external evaluator on a one-year project with SPPS leadership. Advised SPPS Dean and Project Manager on designing and implementing a comprehensive evaluation strategy aligned with the 2019–2024 Strategic Plan and the school’s upcoming 2024 accreditation. Led the development and execution of rigorous evaluation methodologies, integrating internal documents, external reviews, focus groups, and interviews to assess progress and identify organizational priorities. In Fall 2023, SPPS launched the implementation phase, embedding the evaluation plan into SPPS’s continuous improvement processes.
Associate Consultant – Claremont Accenture Talent Innovation (CATI) Lab
As a CATI Lab Associate, Luciana contributed to the validation of Behaviorally Anchored Rating Scales (BARS) by conducting structured interviews with Subject Matter Experts across Accenture’s global operations (Americas, Europe, and India). Her work helped refine performance measurement tools used in talent development and strategic workforce planning.
Microsoft CO+I “Be Well” Employee Well-being Program
Supported the global development of Microsoft’s “Be Well” initiative within the Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) division. Along with a team of four CGU fellows, Luciana defined the program’s mission and objectives for regional Wellbeing Champions and facilitated cross-regional focus groups with employees and leaders across EMEA, APAC, and the Americas. Drawing on qualitative insights, she designed engagement strategies and advised the Learning & Development Manager on program enhancements to align with employee needs and strategic priorities.
Market Intelligence – ViaSat Inc. (Capstone Project)
As part of her MBA Master’s Capstone at CSUSM, Luciana conducted a global market analysis on the integration of satellite-to-drone technologies. She interviewed 14 aerospace and defense experts and cross-sector SMEs to identify barriers to adoption and recommended go-to-market strategies for ViaSat’s Market Intelligence Team. Her final deliverable included strategic guidance presented to the VPs of Global Communication Solutions.
Business Development & Market Intelligence Specialist – Broadcast Microwave Services, Inc.
Supported BMS’s expansion into European Aerospace & Defense markets, focusing on ultralong-range data link solutions. Generated sales leads, assessed regulatory environments, and advised executive leadership on strategic opportunities across 20 countries. Developed interactive Tableau dashboards to visualize financial trends and customer patterns using 10 years of sales data, helping to inform BMS’s long-term planning.
